1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, registering, or using the UniRent platform ("the Platform"), you unconditionally agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, you must immediately cease use of the Platform and do not sign up for an account.

2. Platform Role & Zero Liability

Read Carefully: UniRent is STRICTLY an informational communication board.

• The creator, developers, and administrators of UniRent are NOT participants, brokers, guarantors, or mediators in any transaction occurring between users.
• UniRent unconditionally disclaims all liability for any interactions, transactions, or communications that occur as a result of using this Platform.
• Under absolutely no circumstances shall the creator be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss of property, loss of money, or physical harm.

3. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Property

It is the sole responsibility of the lending party to secure their items, verify the identity of the borrower, collect collateral if deemed necessary, and ensure safe return. The Platform does not insure, guarantee, or protect any physical assets listed on the website.

4. Financial Disputes & Unpaid Debts

UniRent does not process, hold, or facilitate any financial transactions. All monetary exchanges (whether cash, digital transfer, or otherwise) happen completely off-platform and directly between users.

If a user fails to pay an agreed-upon rental fee, the creator of UniRent cannot and will not intervene, reimburse, or mediate the financial dispute. Users must resolve payment issues privately.

5. Physical Safety

Users agree that any physical hand-offs or meetings arranged through the Platform are conducted entirely at their own risk. The Platform strongly advises users to:

• Meet in highly visible, public campus locations (e.g., student unions, libraries).
• Meet during daylight hours.
• Never share highly sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary to complete the exchange.

The creator of UniRent is not liable for any physical harm, harassment, or distress experienced during or resulting from an in-person exchange.

6. Account Termination

The administrators of UniRent reserve the right to ban, suspend, or permanently delete any user account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to reports of scamming, harassment, or violation of these terms.
